Plowright has spent decades questioning the mysterious nature of reality—from 18 months exploring silence in the mountains of Tasmania, to his work with the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. He then founded the Awareness Centre in Sydney, co-founded the Homeland Foundation in NSW and crisscrossed the nation speaking on the beauty of awareness when unencumbered by human history. Also an artist and sculptor, he is a recipient of two Medici Medals and an Order of Australia for his contribution to the arts.
